About Me
Hi there!! Thought I'd share a bit about myself with you...
I spent my youth in Los Angeles, bounced around a bit and lived in Tahoe, Seattle, and Denver, and then settled down with my husband in Buxton, Maine. We’ve got a small cider apple orchard and a nearby river for jumping into on hot days. It’s a beautiful place!
I graduated from California State University at Fullerton with a degree in English, and then received my teaching license shortly thereafter. I earned my Master’s Degree in Teaching from Grand Canyon University, so I know what it is like to go through this program. I have taught for three decades in secondary, community college, adult education, and online classrooms (both the secondary and college levels).
On a more personal note, I love to be outdoors, exploring and adventuring, digging in the dirt, raising pigs, and gardening, but I do also love to cozy up to the stove and bake treats or process jars of jam. And sometimes I just get lost repurposing and creating!
Thanks for joining me!
